Parent Involvement and Support

In order for World Ed Learning Academy to operate effectively; staff, parents and students each play a vital role in creating an atmosphere supportive of learning. Effective communication and high expectations for appropriate behavior are essential. There is an attempt at WELA to keep rules to a minimum and emphasis is placed on rewarding positive behavior. Working together with families, we provide a school climate that encourages personal responsibility and respect for our educational environment.
Role and Responsibility

Parent participation and involvement is exceptionally important at World Ed Learning Academy. When students face academic challenges, it is the support of the parents and their cooperation with the school that makes a difference. WELA expects parents to attend meetings called by the teachers or administration. We also encourage the involvement in school activities.
